Madsen’s Concerto Grosso, Op. 121, and Quintet, Op. 120, appear on the fifth volume of the West Point Band’s 200 Years of Excellence series, alongside works by James Barnes, Paul Harvey and Jack Stamp. The series documents music commissioned around the United States Military Academy’s bicentenary.

Release information. Matthew C. Morse’s 2017 study lists this volume as a 2004 CD release, catalogue WPBI05. The same programme and year appear in the Discogs release record. This identifies the recording previously listed here as “West Point: Quintet & Concerto Grosso”.
