Madsen’s Concerto for Oboe and Orchestra, Op. 30, opens this programme with Brynjar Hoff and the London Philharmonic Orchestra under Per Dreier. It is followed by works by Sparre Olsen, Ragnar Søderlind and Sigurd Berge. Originally issued as Dedications on Philips in 1982, the programme subsequently appeared on Aurora and as Norwegian Works for Oboe and Orchestra.
