Madsen’s Divertimento, Op. 43, forms part of the Anonim Trio’s debut recording for horn, tuba and piano. Martin D. King, Chris Dickey and Yoon-Wha Roh founded the ensemble at Washington State University in 2021. Their programme combines Madsen’s four-movement work with music by David Gillingham, Barbara York and Alec Wilder. It also includes Crikey!, commissioned from Catherine Likhuta by the trio and first performed in April 2022. The album appeared on Centaur in 2023. [1] [2] [3] [4]
