24 Preludes and Fugues featured in ABRSM syllabus

Several excerpts from Madsen’s 24 Preludes and Fugues, Op. 101 have been included in the latest ABRSM piano examination syllabus. This marks a continued recognition of Madsen’s contribution to the piano repertoire by one of the world’s leading music examination boards.

The complete set of preludes and fugues was recorded by pianist Jens Harald Bratlie for the 2L label in 2006 and remains one of the most acclaimed recordings of Madsen’s music.
